Key Concepts

Prime Implicant (PI)

A product term that cannot be combined with another to form a simpler term.

Essential Prime Implicant (EPI)

A prime implicant that covers at least one minterm not covered by any other PI.

Minimal Cover

The smallest set of PIs that covers all minterms.

How to Use
